Customers often ask: what happens to my car inside the workshop after an accident? This article walks you through the stages of repairing a car after a major accident at our workshop in Karsha Industrial Area, as shown in the videos we share from the workshop floor.
1. Receiving and documenting
We receive the car, photograph the damage, and review any technical inspection notes or insurance papers. Read about insurance repairs.
2. Removing damaged parts
We remove the bumper, lights and damaged parts to see the real damage behind them; a lot of damage isn’t visible until things come apart.
3. Chassis measurement
The car goes on the measuring bench, and the reference points are measured and compared with factory specifications. Read about the chassis measurement report.
4. Structural repair or chassis replacement
Depending on the measurement: straightening, or replacing the chassis or damaged section to Royal Oman Police requirements and specifications, then measuring again. Chassis repair and measurement service.
5. Denting and fitting panels
We straighten or replace panels and set the gaps so doors, wings and bonnet line up. Denting service.
6. Preparing for paint
The surface is treated, smoothed and primed, then everything that won’t be painted is carefully masked.
7. Painting in the booth
The car goes into the enclosed, well-lit paint booth, the colour is matched to the car before spraying, then clear coat is applied. Read about painting and colour matching.
8. Final assembly and electrics
Parts and lights are refitted, and electrics, sensors and warning lights are checked and calibrated where needed. Read about ADAS calibration.
9. Polishing and final check
Polishing brings out the gloss, then colour and panel gaps are checked under good light before handover.
From our customers’ reviews
“They replaced my car’s chassis after a major accident, and the car came back like new, as if it had never been in an accident. Their paintwork is excellent too.” – Google Maps review (translated from Arabic).
